CASPER STEINFATH: ON A TEAR FOR A WORLD TITLE
Casper came out strong in London for the APP World Tour as a top contender in both the Sprints and Distance races. On the London Distance course, he placed 4th after some heated (literally, it was hot!) battles with the Hasulyo brothers.
In the Sprints in the U.K. Casper gave chase to a ferocious Kai Lenny to finish an impressive 2nd awarding him an Overall 3rd place win for the London SUP Open.
After the action in New York, Casper is currently ranked 3rd Overall in the race for a world title. He put on a performance, as ever, in the Sprint races in Long Beach in and out of the surf zone and held on for the Top 10 in the Statue of Liberty race.

RED BULL HEAVY WATER: A WILD CARD EVENT
But, who can forget Casper’s legendary performance at the Red Bull Heavy Water last season wherein the mighty Dane proved his worth by battling the tumultuous seas and raging currents to claim his crown there?
The Red Bull Heavy Water is the APP World Tour’s Wild Card event. Athlete’s may replace any distance score from any stop on the tour with their Red Bull Heavy Water standings if they so choose. Minding that, we know the Viking King Casper Steinfath is still a massive force to contend with in this race for a world championship. See you in San Francisco!
