FRIDAY’S BUILDING SWELL WILL SEE REPECHAGE HEATS IN THE WATER 8AM

Friday’s competition will focus on both the Men’s & Women’s Pro Repechage Heats starting at 8AM. The repechage is a chance to come back from a losing round and reassert the athletes into the Quarter & Semi Finals. It is last chance effort to stay in the action.

MEN’S REPECHAGE TO BEGIN AT 8AM (LOCAL TIME)

The Men’s Repechage will take to the water first on Friday, 14th December at 8AM with Luis Diniz & Luciano Esteves Martins leading off the action.  Updated Heat Draws are posted below.  The swell is expected to continue to build overnight and give everyone a clear view of just what the Canaries can offer for a World Title SUP Surf contest like the APP World Tour.

Men’s Repechage Heats to begin at 8AM on Friday 14th December in Las Palmas

WOMEN’S REPECHAGE:  10AM CALL TIME TO BATTLE BACK INTO THE FINALS

The Women’s Repechage will see athletes Candice Appleby, Terrene Black, Shakira Westdorp among others work their way back into the Main Event through the heats which will begin for the ladies at 10AM.  Heat Draws are posted below. Winners will move on to the Quarter Finals and compete throughout the weekend.  If the swell continues to hold, we hope to have a crescendo of entertainment and sportsmanship this weekend with the finals held on Sunday here in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The Women’s Repechage has a First Call at 10AM. Winners will move to the Quarter Finals this weekend.
