The APP would like to say a big congratulations to all its athletes on Tour, and in particular its' World Champions, across both Surfing and Racing. In addition, as has always been done here on the Tour, the APP celebrates those athletes who compete across both and have defined themselves as the most well rounded athletes in the sport.
OVERALL FINISHES ACROSS RACING AND SURFING
For the Men, it was a special year for Casper Steinfath from Denmark, who clinched the Racing World Title and the Sprint discipline Title as well, but also posted a solid performance in New York in Surfing.
While usual all rounders such as Zane Schweitzer and Mo Freitas were in the mix, along with the 2018 Racing World Champion, Arthur Arutkin (who will definitely be a name to wartch out for in 2020, as he commits to the whole surfing Tour as well as the Racing.

For the Women, it was all Fiona Wylde from Oregon in the USA, who finished in 4th place overall for the Surfing and 3rd place overall for the Racing.
However, Annie Reickert from Maui also featured well across both with a 4th place finish overall in Racing and 5th place finish at Sunset.
Also a name to watch out for in the future, is Caroline Kuntzel from Denmark, who put on a solid performance in New York to make her rpesence felt.
