FULL SOCIAL CALENDAR TO MEET THE PROS THIS WEEK IN LONG BEACH, NY
Thursday 6-10PM: Hurley Night with Kai Lenny at the Beach House in Long Beach, NY.
Join us for an evening with Kai at The Beach House at 906 West Beech St., Long Beach, NY. In a relaxed, casual atmosphere, the APP World Tour hosts one of their most renowned athletes to share his experiences and host a private screening of his recently released film, Paradigm Lost.
Kai will be available from 7-9PM. Stop in for a chance to meet one of the most inspirational athletes of our time and stay for this exclusive screening of Paradigm Lost, a Red Bull film by Kai Lenny.
Friday 7-10PM: Meet & Greet the Pros at JJ Coopers
On Friday, the APP World Tour hosts their athletes in a Friday night setting at JJ Coopers, 124 West Park Ave, Long Beach, NY (516) 431-3133.
Locally grown produce and grass fed meats, JJ Coopers is a favorite among the local crowd. Get ready for antics and laughter galore as the crew gets together before the Saturday Main Event.
World Champ Connor Baxter, Izzi Gomez, Bernd Roediger and others will be on hand to say hello and ramp up the energy for a great night at this popular Long Beach restaurant.
Saturday 4-6PM: Surf for All Paddle with the Pros, a non-competitive event raising money for children with disabilities
In one of our highlight events, the APP World Tour and Skudin Surf partner to create a special opportunity for all. For $85 registration fee, paddlers have a chance to make a difference in a child’s life and spend time on the water with APP Tour Pro Athletes.
At 4PM, we will launch from the Hurley Surf Club at 1 Riverside Drive in Long Beach and paddle a 5-mile distance to Ted’s Fishing Station in Lookout Point, NY. Pro athletes like Bruno Hasulyo, Tremayne Walcott and others will be on hand to give paddle tips and laughter along the way.
This experience is a fundraiser for Surf for All, a non-profit arm of Skudin Surf that offers a weekly surf camp for children with special needs. See the video below for inspiration to paddle this Saturday!
Saturday 6-10PM: Surf for All after-party (Open to ALL)
Then, at Ted’s Skudin Surf is hosting what they call ‘a legendary after-party’ for all participants. Open bar, Live Music, a “Big Roast from PieCraft” and swag bag for everybody will round out an evening of fun. Non-paddlers are WELCOME to this exclusive event.
Sunday Night 7-10PM Closing Night Party at Minnesota’s
Our renowned Closing Night party will be at Minnesota’s 959 West Beech St, Long Beach NY (516) 431-0280 to wrap up an exciting week of APP World Tour action and competition. Join the athletes and team for a night of celebration and awards at Minnesota’s as we recap, rehash and relive the best moments from the NY SUP Open.
Hear the athlete’s stories behind their experiences, watch the video highlights on the big screen and participate in the party to close out a great week!
